Dear Santa: A Knitter’s Christmas Wishlist

I mentioned some of these sweaters in my Post-Christmas Knitting Plans post (here), but now that my letter has officially been sent to the North Pole, here’s the list of very specific knitting supplies I asked for for Christmas:

• Chiaogoo Red Lace Shorties — Small

My dad was the first person to ask what I wanted, so he’s getting me the shorties I’ve wanted all year. Magic loop no more.

• Cascade 220 Merino — Dark Violet

6 skeins for the Hannah Sweater V-Neck

I didn’t mention this sweater in my other post because the pattern literally came out two weeks ago, but I fell in love with it fast. The sample is burgundy, but for this pattern Dark Violet felt more like me—I don’t own anything in this shade of purple and I’m so excited for it.

• Lang Cloud Yarn — Color 11

4 skeins for Cloud Sweater #2

I originally said I wanted to make another Cloud Sweater in Lang Cloud 18, but between dwindling online stock and settling on a purple Hannah Sweater, I started looking at color 11. Honestly, I think this will end up being a sleeper hit

• Cocoknits Split Ring Spiral Stitch Markers

I’ve been wanting to try these spiral stitch markers for a while—the split ring markers in the stores just look too open to me, and these feel worth the price tag as a little stocking-stuffer luxury.

I helped my mom order these last 3 online, so I know they’ll be under the tree from Santa.

• Drops Extra Fine Merino — Light Grey

14 skeins for the Storm Sweater

Or…

• Cascade 220 Merino — Black & White

3 skeins of black and 3 skeins of white for the Olga Jacket

I mentioned both of these sweaters in my other post, and not long after that my friend Ben asked what I wanted for Christmas. I told him I could give him something really specific to which he said, “Yes,” but he wanted options. So I gave him two sweater quantities with slightly different price tags—I’d love either one of them.

Anyway… can’t wait!
