A Table-Sized Doily (In Progress)

This project has been requested from me for a couple of years now, and I’m finally working on it: a doily for my stepmom’s dining room table. So for this week’s easy post, I figured I’d share the semi-sloppy chart I’m working from, plus a quick progress pic.

Her table measures 70 × 42″. In my gauge, 10 × 10 filet boxes come out to about 3.5″ × 3.5″. The main filet design is charted at 101 × 181 boxes, and I’m planning to add a roughly 3″ lace border all the way around afterward—in case anyone else with a similarly sized table wants to recreate it.

That’s all for now! I’ll be taking next Friday (the 26th) off from posting. Merry Christmas, and Funky Fresh Fibers will be back in the new year. ❤️
